2.1 Therapy is not a substitute for medical care, legal advice, or crisis intervention. If you are in crisis or have an urgent mental health need, please contact emergency services by calling 999, or use your local crisis services.
2.2 Therapy outcomes vary and depend on the client’s participation, commitment, and other factors. We do not guarantee specific results from therapy.
3. Confidentiality and Data Protection
3.1 We are committed to protecting your privacy and data in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
3.2 All client information shared during sessions is confidential, except in the following situations:
- When the therapist has a legal obligation to disclose information for example if the therapist believes you to be a risk of harm to yourself or others.
- When ordered to disclose information by a UK court.
- With the client’s explicit consent.

3.4 Teletherapy clients must understand that while all reasonable precautions are taken to maintain confidentiality online, no internet-based service is 100% secure. We use encrypted platforms for teletherapy sessions to protect client data.
4. Payments and Cancellations
4.1 Fees: Fees for our services are communicated before the initial session and may vary depending on the type of therapy offered. Our fees can be provided directly upon request.

4.3 Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the full session fee.
4.4 Late or Missed Appointments: If you are late for a session, we will do our best to accommodate the remaining time, but the session will still conclude at the scheduled time. Missed appointments without prior notice will be charged at the full session fee.
4.5 Refunds: We do not generally provide refunds for completed services. If you believe you are entitled to a refund for an unused service, please contact us to discuss your case.
5. Teletherapy
5.1 Teletherapy services are offered to UK-based clients only unless otherwise agreed. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are in a secure, private environment during the session.
5.2 Clients are responsible for maintaining the technical equipment (e.g., computer, internet) necessary for teletherapy. We are not liable for any disruption caused by technical failures during a session.
5.3 In the event of technical difficulties, we will attempt to reschedule the session or extend it within the limits of therapist availability.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 We aim to provide high-quality therapy services, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Therapy is a collaborative process, and progress depends on various factors, including the client’s active engagement.
6.2 To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, income, or profit.
6.3 We are not responsible for any decisions or actions the client takes outside therapy sessions, even if based on discussions in therapy.
